        It serves the purpose of storing CD perfectly. It is however best on a hard floor surface instead of on carpeting. They provide a wall ancore but I did not wish to put a hole in my wall. The finish on the black surface had some dull marks on one of the front pieces but overall looks great.

        Really like the media center. We agree that the underside of the shelves should have been black also instead of bare. We only have 2 1/2 shelves left before it is full. It fits perfectly along the wall behind the door in our living room, and it is so nice to just go pick out a movie or c.d. to enjoy. Looks nice too!!

          It was very easy to put together and looks great! There was a random piece of wood in the package that wasn't in the instructions, so I don't know what it's for. I put the shelves in from left to right and when I got to the right side, they were very tight and hard to position. So I'm thinking a different order would have been better. But I was still able to get them in. They give you 21 shelves, but because I was putting movies in mine, I didn't use near that many because they take more space than CDs. I was able to put my disney (bubble covers) movies, VHS movies, and DVDs all in the same place, it's great! And there's still plenty of room to add to my collection!
