Comments about Prepac Double CD DVD Media Storage Rack in Black:

I looked into Pre-Pac products originally because they [*]are made by the friendly and industrious folks in British Columbia. My rack is far more rugged than the [*] units that I see stocked everywhere. I discovered that Pre-Pac makes a huge variety of these media storage racks and I had great difficulty in settling on a design. I chose this free-standing design for the stable base and because I intend to place one of these units on each side of the entertainment center. If I had a longer wall, I would have picked the barrister design and grouped 3 or 4 together. I could fill 3 or 4 of this model, but only intend(and have the wall space) to display my favorites. The mdf and particleboard is plenty strong for this purpose but probably not best below grade. Decent hardware and precise inletting made assembly a pleasure. I would have liked dimples on the cardboard backer to mark nail spacing, but it is not critical and will never be seen. The top board and shelf boards are unfinished on their undersides but a buyer could paint them if it was an issue. Most of what appeared to be light surface marring rubbed off with fingers. A soft cloth got most of the rest. A black marker is provided for touchup. Well packed, but I wonder if the side boards should have been wrapped in paper to prevent the wax build up/rub marks. I recommend this unit and will purchase another for the other end of the entertainment center. Simple to build for a reasonably intelligent person, but the inept, sloppy, and helpless should hire a handyman for careful assembly.

I Love my Double CD DVD Media Storage Rack. Everyone should have one of these in their house. I can organzie my cds neatly. I'm so glad I saw this product online...it's Simply The BEST!!!!
