                I am very pleased with my prepac slim cd/dvd media storage rack in black, although I do wonder why the underneath of the top wasn't black also. I had seen that mentioned in other reviews and its not a big deal but since it is so perfect in all other ways, I was just curious. If that was taken care of I am sure there would be no complaints from anyone on this unit. It is a great little unit for the money and I would definitely recommend it to my friends or anyone else.                         This peice (we got the black) was perfect for our needs. Just the right height (many others are very tall) and a better look than a wire rack. My husband was out of town so I surprised him by putting it together -- very easy to do. A couple of minor drawbacks: The holes (the ones not being used) for the shelves are pretty visible because they are wood colored, whereas the panels are black. Also, the edge of the backing is wood color, although the backing is black. You can see it from the side. This I quickly fixed by running a black Sharpie along this edge, and it looks great. I suppose I could do that for the holes, if I had the time. Otherwise, it looks very classy in our living room.

                        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
