It's not the most sturdiest bed in the world, if its not even the drawers won't close. Shipping took 3 weeks even tho it says it'll be there the week you order. Other than that I like it.

Bought one of these last year for one of my kids, just bought another for my other one. The second one, I had the headboard and the entire bed assembled in about 2 hours. Only thing that I will caution about..... When it is time for the plastic dowels to be hit halfway into the top of the headboard, don't do it. Just push them in (with the back of the hammer maybe)? I hit them halfway and one actually started to pop out of the top of the headboard. It just started to pop out, so I was really lucky that I could just push it back down from the top. Unless I showed her, she wouldn't have seen it. Otherwise, a very happy with the beds so far. ***** JUST WATCH THOSE DOWELS****

Assembly instructions were clear and concise. Assembly took about thee hours. The headboard should be attached to the bed so it doesn't rock if you lean against it. Don't lose any hardware pieces. There are no extras.

This bed is perfect for my daughter. It has a hip, contemporary style that she likes, and it will give her 6 drawers and bookshelves to help kept her room organized. The bed looks great and functions well. Shipping was easy, the packages all arrived and were loaded by UPS person into the room.

Be prepared for a daunting assemble job. Have your workspace clean and a number of bowls and plates to organize the many screws, bolts, and other parts. Suggest that you label big pieces. Also note the difference between shaded and unfinished sides of picture vs furniture. You must have two people for many of the tasks. Nothing is difficult and the directions are well done, but it takes time. Don't even think about being one of those who throws out the directions! The pieces all went together perfectly and the wood was machined just right. It really did take us almost 5 hours to complete the job (bookcase and platform bed with drawers) but my daughter loves it!

The bed provides a nice contemporary look. It is very sturdy and is a great space saver. We're using it as a guest room bed but my 9 yr old likes it so much that it might become his new bed. Assembly works best if you have 2 people. 2 screws broke through the would while my husband was trying to drill and hold the frame at the same time. The frame fail over and the screws broke through the would very easily. It's nothing visible but I really wish he had asked for help. Besides that, the bed is holding up very well. Assembly takes a few hrs.

Bought this as our primary bed for a great price. Assembly takes a few hrs but is well worth it. This bed is attractive and space saving. The drawers slide smoothly and the headboard can eliminate the need for bedside table which is great because (only con) the first drawer will not slide out if you have bedside tables. The only suggestion I have is that the headboard be made deep enough to account for the depth of the beside tables that match this bed. I'd love to order them from Cymax.

It looks great! It has sufficient amounts of storage and provides very good support. It was a little complicated to put together, but well worth it for the low price and free shipping!

The bed looks nice once it's done, however, it is VERY cheaply made. Some pieces are connected with plastic dowel pins and on one of the pieces, we had three of four plastic pins break while we were trying to put them in. When the plastic breaks, the piece is then totally useless because you can't connect it anymore. The frame from front to back is very flimsy and if you ever try to move the bed, the front and back can move independantly making the bed very crooked. We had to move the bed a couple inches to center it in the room and now something is just off and the draws are a bit crooked. No matter what we do we can't get all the drawers to close evenly. The wood slats that the mattress lays on just fit loosely in a metal channel and when we tried to put the mattress on top, as we shift the mattress to get it in place, those slats move because they are not secured in place at all. There is no way this bed would survive a move without being completely taken apart so only buy it if you plan to live in your house for a long time.
