Assembly required more than one screwdriver due to various sized heads and working space for handle. Parts were numerous, labeled A through Gg, and that didn't include the hardware!!!
A missing piece required a phone call to Cymax...after at least 20 minutes on hold, we were told we would hear from somebody within 48 hours. 48 hours have passed and we are still waiting.

This island replaced a round oak table & 4 chairs. We never used the table except when company came & we needed the seating. So it helped me turn that "catch all" table to a functional piece where I can "hide" all kinds of things that use to be put on the table. The island comes in so handy for another work station & I love the granite for cooling off baked items that have just came out of the oven. The drawers are small, do not run the depth of the cabinet, that's a small negative. It's pricy yes, but for us, it's worth the money. I never did find another anywhere that had the color & drop leaf that we needed. The color oak is definitely medium & works with my 1979/80 kitchen cabinets. [...]
