    * Counter height stools are usually 24" - 26" in height and is often used for a 35" - 36" high table
    * Bar height stools are 30" high and is used for a 40" - 42" high table
    * Table height chairs are 18" high and works well for 28" - 30" high tables.

        These just arrived as a replacement for some really cute leather stools with backs that were just too low for my island. I was a bit uncertain how well made these would be given that they were only [$]. I had tried stools that were $300 and $400 but all looked too small next to my huge kitchen island. The island is 38" tall, so that means some counter stools are too low but bar stools would be too high. These work perfectly. Very sturdy and attractive. They come well packed and easy to assemble. The metal finish is high quality and looks great - a bronze-y, brown. The seats are very comfy - nice padding and leather type material. Very happy to finally have somewhere to sit!

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
