Comments about Napoleon Grills Ultra Chef 405 Pedestal Series Grill: I purchased this grill online for [$] (shipping included) from CymaxStores.com. I have been using it for 3 weeks now, and so far am absolutely thrilled with it. It assembled very easily. The quality of the components was evident as I inspected them when unpacking. The parts are made from heavy gauge steel, and the firebox & lid from thick cast aluminium. Assembled, this grill has great fit and finish and I'm proud to have it sitting on my deck. As they say, the devil is in the details. This grill has great aesthetics, right down to the cast aluminium wheels wrapped in treaded rubber. As for actual cooking, Ultra Chef 405 the does this very well. It holds a constant temp with no variations. The cast aluminium firebox does a fantastic job of retaining heat, and the cast wave cooking grids are "meaty" and therefore transfer heat well. Although it adds nothing to the flavor, the wave marks left on the food is cool, I have to admit. The stainless steel fold down side shelves provide lots of work space. The plastic endcaps on the shelves have built in hooks for utensils. The one and only thing I do not like about this grill is the fact that it came with a rear burner that's specifically intended for cooking using a rotisserie. Since I have no intentions of buying the rotisserie set up (an extra $75), and therefore will never utilize the rear burner, I hate the fact that I paid for a feature that I will never use. For this reason I wish the rear burner would have been considered an option with this model. Maybe it would have saved me a few $'s.My budget for a new grill was only $700. Not much when you are seeking to become initiated into the high-end grill market. For the grill masters out there, you know this is really where good quality grills begin in price, so I my options were very limited. The only other grill I considered was the Broilmaster. However, a Broilmaster with the same features and cooking area as the Napoleon would have cost in excess of $1,000.I consider myself an avid griller and cook on both my gas & charcoal grills year round. Grilling is a hobby for me. Based on my experience thus far with the Ultra Chef 405, I would highly recommend it. The bottom line is this; The Ultra Chef by Napoleon is a total package of undeniable quality combined with affordable pricing Pros

Comments about Napoleon Grills Ultra Chef 405 Pedestal Series Grill: Just put it together today. I was a little disappointed in the materials used for the pedestal. They are light weight. I hope they will last as long as the rest of the grill. The main components seem to be well built. I am impressed by the burners and cooking grates. The grill heated up to 400 in a matter of minutes. It isn't as nice as the Weber Genisis, but it was $200 less. I am happy with the purchase. Displaying reviews 1-2 Related Items
