Be very careful when assembling this headboard -- it tips over very easily. I still have the massive bruise on my arm to prove it. Otherwise, it should be fine once I drill the holes to attach it to the bedframe. I'm using it for my little girl's room. The materials are adequate for this price point, and the molded trim on the front edges adds a nicer touch.

I picked this headboard because it has a cavity space behind it and I needed to hide a remodel feature in the guest bedroom. It is a beautiful headboard and very functional. It looks like an expensive piece of furniture although it is a great bargain - with shipping included. It took about an hour to assemble. The instructions for this headboard are easy enough but you have to pay very close attention to using the correct pieces facing the correct way and the diagrams aren't always simple to decipher. AND to attach the headboard to the frame you have to drill your own holes, which I had not expected to do. The previous headboard I purchased a few months ago from the same collection for my own bed and frame had all the necessary hardware and no drilling was required. A minor trouble spot for this model but needs mentioning. Overall, I would buy this headboard or any in the collection many times if I needed to and highly recommend them to anyone in need of a bookcase hearboard. Very high quality wood and construction.
