We like the table. It looks nice and the little shelves are handy for serving guests. The drawer is a plus as well. However, after we put it together (easy enough), we found that it was almost impossible to get the plastic sheeting off the table as it was tucked tightly under the leatherette top. Upon reading other reviews, we found that many people had the same problem.
Here's what you have to do:
Before you put the bottom shelf on, turn the table upside down and look for eight wood screws around the outside on the underside of the table top. Unfortunately, you won't see all 8, as some are hidden under the shelves and the drawer. You have to remove the little blocks from the shelves that keep them from coming all the way out. The drawer has a little plastic half-circle piece that does the same thing. Remove it and slide the drawer and shelves all the way out and set them aside. (It's not necessary to remove the tracks that the shelves and drawer slide on.)
Now loosen the 8 screws but don't remove all of them. You have to pull out 3 or 4 all the way and separate the leather top from the wood sides by a half-inch or so. The problem is that the screws go right through the plastic, so if you try to just pull the plastic out it will get caught and tear. Once you've got half of the plastic free, replace the screws and remove the other ones and pull the rest of the plastic out. Avoid separating the entire table top, as it will be very hard to line up the holes to replace the screws. We know, we tried.
This whole process will at least double the amount of time it will take to assemble the piece, but it's the only way to get the plastic free cleanly.
(There is also a cloth strap stapled under the table which serves no useful purpose. It is probably there to help the manufacturer move the table around in the factory. We removed it by pulling out the staples.)

Easily assembled by myself. Looks great in the living room with the sectional. I had looked everywhere for a round upholstered coffee table that didn't look like a "big block". This is perfect for me and should hold up to grandkids pretty well.

I thought the quality of the table is excellent and I love the color. It was easy to assemble. However, I'm at a lost as to how to remove the plastic from the top. Why did the manufacturer make it so diffcult to remove? I can't even get it all off. This is the only downside to the table. I would have given a higher rating, if the plastic would have been easier to remove.

This table looks great, was easy to put together and is safe for my young son! It can be on casters which is convenient as is the drawer and the 2 slide out tables. Love this table!

great piece - solid and sturdy. casters are convenient as is drawer and pull-out drink rests. rounded leather edges are kid-friendly. firm enough top to act as good table, but soft enough to put your feet up on. dark wood shows dust/dog fur. a little larger than i expected, but not overwhelming. [...]and assembly not difficult - only problem was some trouble removing the plastic wrapping on the top.

item came in a timely manner and well packaged however the top vinyl cover had been sealed in plastic prior to assembly which meant we were not able to get the plastic off! We spent a considerable amount of time and patience pulling the small plastic remnants from between the leather and the wood and we were not completely successful we had to tuck the remnants into the seams to hide them.

I have been looking for a well priced leather ottoman that still had a coffee table look to it, and this is the only one I found that looks sleek and is still durable enough to handle my two year old. It is the perfect size for my den and has held up well to everyday use, including my Toddler climbing on it.

The cocktail table has many usable features for me, I like that it moves easy, I like that you can put your feet on it and not worry about the fabric messing up, I like the shelf that slides out for your drinks and the draw I use to store all my remotes. If I have many guest I have a serving tray I leave on top of table to set your drinks on or serve food on.
