This is a beautiful media cabinet. I looked all over the place, and couldn't find anything with doors. I have small children, so I wanted to be able to keep the dvds away from them. All the other pieces I looked at were just shelving unit type things, and they were as much, if not more than this. It was fairly easy to assemble, but I did need help with hanging the doors. Overall, an absolutely awesome piece. The only thing I did not like is that it seems to be a bit unstable on my carpeted floors. I live in an older home, so maybe my floors are just warped, but it seemed a little wobbly. We installed brackets to attach it to the wall.

i bought ths product so my daughter wouldnt play with our cd's and dvd's. it was easy to put together and is quite durable. my handle just broke off after having it a year, but i glued it back on and it still keeps my daughter away from our "breakables". i would highly recommend this product and i will soon be purchasing a second one.
