I use this for my CD/DVD collection... it is a nice piece but for some reason the doors don't close uniformly... it has magnets up top to keep them closed but the bottom sticks out noticeably... The gap between the doors doubles from top to bottom... I have leveled the cabinet and made sure DVDs weren't holding the bottom out but haven't figured it out yet... It's a nice piece... looks great, is sturdy, and has many shelves which makes it versatile but the doors on mine bother me... maybe I got the lemon... wouldn't be the first time my "luck" got me...

BEWARE: We own over 1,000 CD's. We have two cabinets. They are very attractive and functional. My problem, after two years of use, is some of the plastic shelf brackets holding the larger shelves, have broken off. The peg end of the brackets have become stuck in the hole. I was able to purchase metal brackets, and replace the unbroken ones. However, I am having a difficult time removing the plastic parts stuck in the holes. I would highly recommend getting metal brackets (at least on the long shelves) before storing a large number of CD's.

I was pleasantly surprised when the cabinet arrived. It is a heavy, solid piece of furniture. It has get storage space. I was able to put all of my CD's and DVD's in it. There is basically no assembly required. You just have to adjust the shelves to fit your collection. Would recommend it to everyone! Great product.
