It's a beautiful piece of storage furniture but it is a little shaky when put together. It was easy to put together (I did it by myself and yes, I am a woman) and is very attractive. Other reviews said the back was made of wood too but it is a VERY thin piece at that. All in all, worth the price. I would buy another if I had more room.

I am using this Home Styles Kitchen Pantry for storage. My kitchen is small. This unit allows me to store cans and boxes of food items in an easy-to-reach out-of-sight fashion. This pantry is high end furniture, not the cheap flakeboard laminate. This is one of two "Home Styles" brand kitchen furniture that I have purchased from Cymax. I was amazed by the high quality of the hard wood construction (this does make the unit very heavy to [...] carry, unbox and assemble). Set aside a couple HOURS for assembly. Every part was included. I found it easier to use a medium size flat-blade screwdriver to turn the twist cam-locks instead of using a Phillips screwdriver. It will take two strong people to set the pantry into it's final upright position. Wonderful product.

This unit comes unassembled. There are close to 30 wood pieces. These are all tied together with pins and round locking devices. Overall it is not hard to assemble, but the top did not fit as flush as I would like. It says distressed finish but there are not too many holes in the finish which I liked. One tricky part in the assembly. At first attempt, the unit was a bit wobbly. It ends up that you need to be careful inserting the first set of cam-locks - you don't want to insert them completely as far as the predrilled holes, otherwise, it will be wobbly once the lower section is attached to the bottom section.

This Pantry is more then I expected. It is our 33rd anniversary present to ourselves. It is so beautiful, and fits right in with my other Oak and Natural Wood items. I have ample space. I replaced it from a wrought iron bakers rack and what a difference it made in my kitchen/diningroom appearance. I am so thrilled with this item and plan on getting more later on. This was a gift for my son's house and he doesn't have a built-in kitchen pantry and this piece of furniture provided so much storage in a very decorative way! But, one of the doors doesn't want to close. You have to keep closing it and then it sticks.
