This cabinet is magnificent! I was concerned about the color since I was not able to see it in a store. To my suprise it matches my kitchen cabinets wonderfully (they are a honey cherry). We put this cabinet together in 1 hr 15 min. It is sturdy and beautiful. High end, all wood...even the back. It could have been a little wider. [...]

I really liked this cabinet. Here's my request to Home Styles:
"We like the cabinet but have noticed that the top, which is prefabricated with a frame, is separating. The top sheet is cupping and pulling away from the frame. We hope that a replacement is available."

"Well, sorry to hear that a new top is not available. I would purchase it to save the cabinet otherwise it's going to the dump."

Comments about Home Styles Kitchen Pantry in Distressed Oak Finish:

I bought this for additional kitchen storage. I was a little skepital about the color-- my computer showed more of a "golden" wood color. When it arrived, the wood is more of a dark brown color, which I prefer as it matched my existing cabinetry much better. The quality is much better than I expected! I'm completely happy with this purchase!

This is the 2nd pantry that we have purchased. We are happy with everything about it except for the stain color of the 2nd pantry. Hoping that we were buying an exact duplicate of the 1st, we were disappointed that the color was several shades darker.

Comments about Home Styles Kitchen Pantry in Distressed Oak Finish:

This is a nice looking piece of furniture. I do wish it was wider and it's darker than the picture. But I love the color. It's perfect for what I needed it for. My kitchen has no pantry, so this serves as storage for some of my kitchen stuff. It only took about an hour and a half to assemble, however, one door was a little warped, and it wouldn't close. We had to make adjustments so the magnets would connect. Overall it looks nice and serves it purpose.

Comments about Home Styles Kitchen Pantry in Distressed Oak Finish:

This pantry is well-made of fairly good quality materials. It has plenty of storage space. Mine looks a little darker than the one pictured. It did take me about two hours to assemble (by myself), and it required some effort to drag the box into the kitchen and to get the assembled pantry in place (but I managed it, and I'm a middle-aged woman). Assembling the back panels was tricky. In the end, I used masking tape to temporarily hold together the five parts that make up each of the two back panels while I attached the sides. Also, I found it worked better to put the cam bolts in after setting each piece in place rather than before (as described in the directions). Finally, I didn't install the 16 wood screws in the back because it looked as though they would not serve any structural or supporting function. Overall, I'm happy with this--it's good value for money and looks durable and reasonably stylish.

Comments about Home Styles Kitchen Pantry in Distressed Oak Finish:

After it was assembled the doors wouldn't close properly. So I had to make spacers on the hinges to raise the position of (2) doors and (1) other door would not close completely because the hinge was binding on itself.
