          My background is in cabinet making. Decent piece for assembly line. Attention to detail,OK. Needs to be advertised as "high density fiber board top and sides with oak and birch veneers, solid face frame and doors". Not that fiber board is a bad thing it is 3/4" and more stable than solid wood.

          The Mission style cabinet fits my decor perfectly, doesn't take up much space, and is handsome. I wonder, though, that the product is described as solid wood when I found the center shelf was manufactured wood. Another quibble: the center component space is a little narrow, and the components had to slide in sideways.

          Works great for our 40" HDTV, and it is nice to have the components behind a glass door, however, storage space is limited. Overall, we are very pleased with this nice piece of funiture. Wish we had the room for the complete set.
