I use the island everyday. I had looked for over a year for the perfect island and this is it. You can store so much in it and the granite surface on the top is excellent for any kind of kitchen work. I roll alot of dough for pasta and cookies and it's the perfect size to work on. I just love everything about it.

The quality of the product is quite decent. I purchased it to get additional storage space in the kitchen, and also expand the space to keep small appliances (food processor, toaster oven, etc.). I was looking for a "floating" kitchen island so I would have more counter space for my kitchen, so my mother bought this for me as a gift. My whole experience was wonderful. First of all, the gentleman on the phone was very friendly and helpful. [...] I wanted to put it together right away. Let me tell you, I am NOT the handy type, I am a 25 year old lady, so I do not like anything frustrating or poorly constructed. This product has very nice craftsmanship, it was very easy to assemble; it did take about 4 hours, but it went together the way it was supposed to, and is anything but flimsy. It is a great quality wood, as it needs to be since it has a heavy granite top. There was no missing hardware, vague or confusing directions, or anything. The directions book was short, but it made sense and all the wood is labeled as well, making your job so much easier. The granite top was packed very well and cautiously(as was the rest of the product). The end result was a very gorgeous, practical, well-constructed piece of furniture that I look forward to using for all my kitchen needs. It is great! And the price was wonderful.
