We use this product as a kitchen island and extra storage and food prep. I didn't find it that hard to put together. The only problems were self induced.(ie,installing a couple parts upside down, etc.) Even with that I had it together in about 90 minutes while watching a ball game. The instruction are good, but not great. The pictures weren't that precise, but unless you're completly inept shouldn't have much trouble putting it together. We purchased one from another company and returned it because of various problems. This is a good product, all wood and no particle board. I would recommend it to a friend.

Because I am a resourceful kind of guy that can read between the lines and fix household things easily, I still do not regret purchasing this cart, which is a nice design with good quality components. However – the assembly illustrations are not adequate because they leave you wondering which way to place pieces for correct assembly when they can go (and do go) either of two ways. Several times I had to disassemble the thing and redo it over when just a few simple notations on the illustrations would have prevented this dilemma. Then there are the drawer guides: The drawer guides are placed too far apart! Perhaps the center mounting piece thickness was just cut too narrow. Either way, when you try to slip the drawers into their roller guides you find that they are spaced too far apart. The drawer's rollers won't fit into both left and right tracks at the same time, missing one or the other by about a quarter inch. It's actually easy to fix if you have some longer screws and a lot of small flat washers. I simply removed the outer factory mounted drawer guide rails and placed about 4 flat washers for each mounting screw between this guide rail and the wood mounting surface (to space it out a bit) and refastened it through the same holes using the longer countersunk screws and it work out perfectly. Do this to just the left and right drawer's OUTER guide rails only, leaving the inner ones as is.
Other than these two issues, the cart is fine. Both could be (and SHOULD BE) easily fixed by the manufacturer.

Assembly took while because there was just so many pieces. I cut the elbow off the wrench supplied and stuck it in my electric screw driver. This saved an enormeous amount of time.

I've had this product for about a month and recently had to move it to another room so we could paint the kitchen. I realized then how much I depend on it. It looks great in the space, is easy to keep clean, and adds far more workspace and counter space than I thought it would. It is wonderful to use for cooking or serving. The cart stays in place with the wheels locked, but I love the fact that it is easy to move if I need to use it elsewhere, clean around it, or whatever. I cook a lot and this makes my large kitchen far more functional with counter space that is easy to reach from the stove, sink, and refrigerator. It was also the best price I found anywhere and the quality is HIGH. I recommend it!

I absolutely love this kitchen island. I have minimal counter-top space in my kitchen and by purchasing this product it gave me more than enough space now. It has a very attractive design and more than enough space for storage. The only problem I had was that the pre-drilled holes were extremely too small so my brother had to use a drill to make the holes larger in order for the screws to go in at all. All together it took us a few hours to assemble. I am very pleased with my purchase.

This unit is built with high quality materials and is very sturdy.

One dissappointment was that the depth of the cabinets was less than expected. Instead of filling out under the entire counter top there is about a 8" inch overhang in the back. The dimensions given are for the overall product and unfortunately weren't broken down into dimensions for the individual components like the cabinet space and counter top, so it was difficult to determine those dimensions prior to purchasing the product.

The narrower cabinet (and corresponding wheel base) also makes this cabinet prone to tipping.

A small child can easily tip this unit by either hanging on the overhang or by opening and hanging on one of the drawers. Although if the cabinets were the full depth of the counter top the tipability would be greatly diminished.

Otherwise this product is well built and a good value, as long as the necessary safety precautions are observed in the presence of children.

I love my island the only problem we had was the flat piece wouldn't slide into the grove so I have one that is very loose and I don't know how to make it work without ruinning it. I'm glad I got this island because it's so handy. Thank you

Follow the directions and this cart is easy to assemble. The wood finish looks great and matches my kitchen cabinets. The best feature about the cart, aside from the very reasonable price, is the extra storage space it provides. I can fit my trash can on one side of the enclosed cabinet doors and my recycling can in the other. I would not hesitate to order from your company again. Easy, fast and beautiful!

There were a couple of parts that were missing (ie two 'left' doors, etc.) but they were quick to replace them.
