    This buffet comes in three boxes, the largest being over 100 lbs and is terribly awkward to move by yourself without a hand cart. Assembly will take at least 3 hours.

    Be careful to determine the back side of some pieces as the instructions do not alert you to this. Some pieces have arrows to point to the front or top (or in the case of the drawers, the bottom) of the assembly, but they don't say which, so make sure you figure that out first, especially if you're gluing like I did.

    Also, don't over-torque the hex-head bolts because the particle board can't take it.

    I was not satisfied with the way the face frames for the drawers attached to the cabinet. Some pieces did not draw tight so I had to get out my Kreg jig and use some screws. This is when I found out that even some of the face-frame pieces were particle board (MDF), which was disappointing.

    Overall the look of the buffet is very nice and we are generally pleased with the product. It is not solid-wood quality, but neither is it solid-wood price. Hopefully it is strong enough to make it through a move or two, but if not, I won't be surprised.

      I wanted a white hutch for my kitchen and this was perfect. Was nervous about ordering online and having to put it together but we love it. Was very time consuming to put together but was not hard just a lot of peices. I thought it was well worth the time. Everyone that has seen it has commented on how much they like it.

        Its obviously a "put it together yourself" piece of furniture... the drawers aren't even.. it wobbles a bit, but for the money I'm quite happy. It gave me the storage I wanted for a good price, and it looks very nice.

                We had a handyman put it together and it took him all day. So...add $150 to the purchase price and it wasn't such a bargain. It does look very nice, though. I wish I had really looked at its dimensions; I would have gotten the larger one. However, once it was assembled (after all that), I wasn't going to even try to find out about exchanging it.
