The synthetic-weave is both moisture and weather resistant, and requires very little maintenance.       I bought four of these to go with the Home Styles Terra Cotta Bistro Table. The package of the table with chairs comes with two chairs, but I was not sure if they were the same as these or not, as I wanted to order 2 more (for 4 total). They are. The chairs are reasonably comfortable and fit well with the table. I can fit three chairs comfortably around the table, and have the fourth to pull up if needed. The seat cushion is ok, not great. I have sat on the chair for some time with no issue, but I still think it could be a little bit thicker (its only about an inch thick), which is why I gave it 4 not 5 stars). That said, I am happy with my purchase (and with how Cymax shipped and handled my order)
