I ordered this from Cymaxstores, and really love every aspect. [...]. It is delivered in three boxes, and is very heavy because it is all solid wood. FYI, both sides look just like the side pictured so there is a total of six shelves on the short sides- two permanent (bottom) and four adjustable shelves. And there are deep, deep shelves inside, the top two are adjustable and the bottom two permanent. You will have little difficulty putting this together if you have put other furniture together. The one entire section is already assembled upon delivery. I receive many compliments on it, and it is absolutely beautiful! Cleans up easily because of the polyurethane finish. The side leaf lifts up easily and is large enough for kitchen stools (2 or 3). Absolutely the best island we could have chosen.

I prepared an authentic Mexican meal and had two food processors going, prepared raw veggies and rolled out tortillas...all at the same time. I love it! The quality is fantastic and high-end and it's very, very decorative. Need alrger drawer space, but I wouldn't change anything else in it.

I was about to give up searching for a kitchen island that would be perfect for my kitchen and my pocket and then I looked one last time and found just what I had in mind. After it arrived in a few short days and was assembled I was totally satisfied.

The island was fairly easy to assemble. I like the rich appearance and the storage is good. Also enjoy the board which lifts up to create area for two people to sit comfortably.

excellent quality. my hubsand and i had it put together in 45 minutes with our 3 kids playing with the boxes. great directions.

i wish i could have gotten backless bar stools - oh well, i still love the piece and get tons of comliments

oh, i did go and buy different handles since i wasn't into the antique gold/bronze look

[...]. The top section and two drawers were pre assembled. The base was assembled but the mid section consisting of four end posts, two cabinet doors and shelves needed to be assembled. I am 71 year old female and I assembled it by myself with a little lifting help and tightening of bolts from my husband. (You need two people to lift the top onto the midsection.) This product was beautiful when assembled. It is heavy and does not slide around easily. I took my time to put it together but I could quessestimate 6-8 hours of assemble, remember I am 71
