I was a bit nervous about ordering a kitchen island online but the price was so reasonable I thought I would give it a try. Great decision. Ordering was easy, the people at Cymax were helpful and friendly and I received my order in record time. Tracking was also easy. It wasn't as easy to assemble as some of the reviewers had said but the instructions were very clear. Once assembled we were so happy that we ordered the matching stools which were of the same study quality and also arrived promptly. We have had many compliments on the new look of our kitchen.

This is a very nice unit to look at, but the shelves on the side are almost an inch to short and they just barely sit on the pegs, so I'm afraid to put anything on them and one of the doors doesn't fit right I have to lift it up in order for the magnet to hold it shut

Attractive counter. Overall construction is sturdy and the drop leaf is a nice feature to add more counter space and use as a breakfast bar. Intallation took about 1-2 hours with 3 people. Easy to move around after I put some felt pads on the bottom legs.

I had no counter space in my kitchen. I m amazed what a wonderful difference the island has made in every way. It looks just as good as the picture if not better. It's sturdy and I love how it changed the entire look of my kitchen.

some of the pre-drilled holes were stripped. and you def need 6 hands,, its not an easy assembly. hard to return a 75lb, 4pc package after you have gotton it all apart and then you find out that some of the screws are stripped or not lined up.. very unhappy about it. lucky im so what knowledgable on woood work.. or an avg joe would be like this is DUMB!!!!

We just moved from a house that had lots of counter space and a huge center island. Though my new kitchen is roomy, there was no island and I really missed it. This is the perfect solution. It's attractive, gives me lots of extra storage space, and fits in my kitchen without interrupting the room's flow. It's a great contrast with the cherry cabinets and the counter top looks great. All in all, we're really happy with this furniture. The only negative--it took a skilled carpenter over two hours to assemble, and I would not have been able to do it myself.

We are 100% satisfied with this item, it is a quality piece of furniture, that complimented our kitchen. Assembly is made easier if you use masking tape to hold panel pieces in place until locked in place with screws.
