      This island is nice but it is a [$] island if you want better spend the money! It was easy to assemble. I had 3 parts that were cracked, chipped or broke, which they replaced. There are many flaws in the wood where it wasn't sanded well enough before painting. The overall look of the island works very nice in my kitchen. I am satisfied with it for what I spent, if I had spent any more for it, it would be going back.

        This is a beautiful piece - My husband said that it was fairly easy to assemble - It is well made -I set a couple of small blacks stools next to it - A piece of marble or granite on top would make it even more of a showpiece so i may add one - Shipping was extremely fast - I ordered this on 11/19 and received on 11/23 - Everyone who say it over the holiday loved it. I am very pleased

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        I noted under "con" the finish on the top because I am very careful about what I set on the top. I would have preferred a more durable work surface such as marble or butcherblock. I have looked for years for an island that would fit the space I have, and this worked perfect. This really is a beautiful island. I originally saw this on two other websites, one was [$] and the other was [$], then I found the exact same one here for [$]. It is easy to put together and weighs 180lbs so if I move, this is going with me. Very happy with the quality and price!!

          This cart was very easy to assemble [...] and I get tons of compliments on it. The drawer is very large - enough for all my new silverware - service for 12 and still have extra space. The drawer opens from both ends which is a great feature - I would highly recommend this item

            I have been searching for five years for a kitchen island I could afford and like,I found both in this island. Beautiful piece of furniture, the center point in my kitchen. Storage is great and can be used from both sides, a real plus.It did take some time to put together but not hard to figure out, and came with good directions.I covered the top with glass cutting boards to protect the top finish till I can buy a black marble slab to protect the top and offer eatting surface. I ordered and was surprised how soon the island came,[...]. I am a Happy buyer .
