I'm not much of an online shopper but found myself coming back to this TV stand over 40 times (no joke). I don't like buying things without seeing them in person. I finally decided to take a chance and purchased this stand. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase and love the way my 52" TV looks on this stand, but I was bummed when 3 pieces came cracked. One of the cracks was pretty severe and the other two, not so bad. Luckily, they were the back pieces, so it wasn't worth sending the stand back or getting replacements. It seems as though the thinner pieces are the ones that get cracked easily. I guess that's the risk of on-line shopping. Also, since all the hardware is pretty much pre-installed, the two front doors didn't quite match up which is a major pet peeve of mine, but the darn thing looks so good as a whole that even with that annoying flaw, I seem to overlook it and admire how nice it is. The color is a dark espresso and the only time you really see the reddish hue that's shown in the picture is if the sun hits the stand. There isn't much natural light in our living room so the stand tends to look darker. It has tons of storage; I was able to fit over 400 DVDS and all our video gaming gear. Assembly was pretty easy; my husband put this stand together in about 1 ½ hours. Quality is way better than your average TV stand from other big stores; it's nice to see real wood pieces. I like the look of this stand so much, that I am getting ready to purchase the media cabinet and the computer armoire. Bottom line, I would buy this unit all over again but wish I could pick it up instead of having it shipped so as to avoid the damage. The only reason I rated this stand a 4 is because of the cracked pieces and the misaligned hardware, otherwise, I would have rated it a 10!

Looking for a stand that was tall enough to fill up the space under neath my wall mounted tv. Wanted something that was made of real wood construction and love the design. Wasn't disappointed at all. The stand is absolutely an attractive piece in person. Looks like you spend much more money than I actual did. Made my family room come alive. The picture doesn't do it justice. Real easy to assemble, took no time at all. I would have preferred screws to tighten the piece rather than cam locks to make it more sturdy while assembling. Definitely would recommend if you really wanted a nice piece of furniture for your money. Love the fact that I order this stand and it arrived promptly. Absolutely love it.

I had been looking for weeks for the perfect TV stand and kept coming back to this one, but was nervous about ordering something over the internet that I couldn't really see and touch. Nothing in the local stores did it for me, so I finally bit the bullet and I am so happy I did! This is a truly beautiful and well made piece of furniture. My husband is less than handy and he was able to put it together with no trouble. The espresso color is striking. This was a steal! I wish there was a matching sofa table!

We are overall happy with this purchase; we believe we got a lot for our money. However, there were some small problems. There are a few imperfections in the finish (some chips in the finish, and some smudges where it appears that the piece was damaged, then repaired before it left the factory.) Also one of the doors didn't have its hinges in the right place. I had to drill two new holes to get it to fit in the right place and close fully.

I needed the perfect tv stand to hold my new 52" LCD TV and I found it! It is bigger than I expected it to look from the online picture. It looks very high end, was very easy to assemble and has made a great addition to our living room. The only issue I had was that the cabinet doors didn't close all the way. I had to loosen a few of the screws in order to get them to close. They were just screwed together too tightly.

In constructing this piece of furniture, some modifications were needed due to a design flaw. The unit holds a sharp aquos 65" lcd tv very nicely. The end doors dont fit properly and need adjustments
I was very surprised at an additional $10.00+ canadian surcharge which I never read about during the ordering process.

I am very happy with my purchase. This piece of furniture looks great, has tons of storage, is sturdy and was simple to assemble. I have pruchased furniture that requires assembly before and have sometimes struggled with pieces fitting together. My wife and I put this cabinet together with ease, no problems. A great piece of furniture at a very reasonable price.

I recently purchases at 46" flat screen and have it mounted on the wall, I needed a high media console to compliment the height of the tv. After weeks of searching, I came across this console ... I just received it yesterday and LOVE IT! It took about 2 hours to assemble (two people are needed as it is very heavy) and it looks great in my living room. The color of the wood is truly esspresso finish, the picture on the website is deceiving, the finish is much-much darker, but looks expensive and stylish. A MUST HAVE!

Design flaws need attention. quality control needs correction (bottom face rail was split. interior shelf was dropped before being packed, fitted pieces need design attention, screw strip for back panel needed cutting and instruction manual redrawn for that change. Other than those issues, I"d purchase it again for my application, with accompanying furniture pieces to match.

After much searching, I determined that this was the TV stand I wanted and Cymax had the best price. [...]Assembly of the furniture was incredibly easy. My wife and I had it together in less than 2 hours. Having struggled with other furniture assemblies due to construction imperfections, it was a relief to have this one go together so easy.
