This is a pretty good product. It is built with fairly good materials, has an attractive design, and comes packaged adequately. I bought it mostly because of its dimensions and color... fitting into my dining room perfectly. I have purchased assemble-it-yourself furniture before, and I'm also a carpenter, so I was confident in my purchase.Two things to note about the quality:1. The hutch doors are made of plexiglas, not real glass. This is fine by me, but I don't believe it was mentioned anywhere in the product description when I bought it.2. The finish is ever-so-slightly uneven on some parts, which can really only be seen from certain angles, under certain lighting, if you're really looking for it. This may just be the carpenter in me talking.Similar to other comments, the assembly instructions are rather poor quality. They are not especially clear, and look to be reproduced using an old photocopier. Multiple steps are often combined into a single illustration, so it's tricky to understand what parts go together first. Think things through very carefully with each step. I'd also recommend using two people during assembly, because the unit needs to be turned a few times, and can be fragile in between steps before all of the fasteners are in place.I was a little annoyed when I opened the packaging to discover that all of the parts were very dirty, covered in wood dust. Everything has to be wiped down before assembly. This could have been done better. [...].I did run into one very disappointing discovery: With the hutch unit, I was shipped two left side panels, instead of one left and one right. The parts look very similar, so during manufacturing, there must have been some confusion during packaging. I was unable to complete the assembly of the hutch without this piece.However, I contacted Home Styles directly via their website, and submitted a request for replacement parts. The correct panel was shipped to me without further questioning or contact within a week or so. It's disappointing that I didn't get my order correctly the first time, [...] I'm now satisfied with my assembled purchase.Having used it for a few weeks, I stand by my opinion that this a decent product at a fair price. It suits my needs very well, and is rather attractive.

The buffet and hutch are part of my kitchen. They are both beautifully made and sturdy. You need 2 people to lift the hutch onto the buffet. I love the choices of finish for the top of the buffet. Mine is stainless steel and complements my appliances.

The hutch looks great in our kitchen. I am able to make room in my other cabinets for food items while storing wine glasses, cookbooks and small appliances in the hutch. It did take awhile to assemble, but it was worth it!

this product is very sharp looking we love it but it took a long time to put together
