I bought this product after browsing other web sites. I based my decision on the price [...]g and I liked the appearance of it. I use it in my foyer and it looks good. Was easy to assemble in appx two hours. Solid wood, the finish is very nice if you're ok with rustic appearance. I got it in cherry. I would recommend it for people who are shopping within this price range. The only complain is it was missing two wooden buttons.

We spent a significant amount of time trying to figure out the attachment of the spring hinges. In the end we gave up and didn't install them. The directions were not clear as to exactly where they should be attached. A closer picture of the proper way to attach and cleaer directions would have been incredibly helpful. The unit is fine without the springs. It also appears shorter when put together. The color is nice and I am happy with it.

This is a very good looking and useful piece of furniture. We have a very small entryway and this really makes a difference and cuts down on clutter. Love the shelf on the top for some small baskets to keep keys and the like. Ample storage in the bench and enough space underneath to slide a tray for some shoes. Wish it came with a cushion though I found a great match online elsewhere. Only bad thing really is the spring hinge that is supposed to keep the bench lid from slamming shut just did not work, we could not figure out how to install it. We still need to call and rectify that.

The hall tree was purchased to provide seating to remove wet boots and outerwear at a ski resort. I was very pleased with the quality of materials used, the design and ease of assembly. The value was far greater than I anticipated.

I needed something to store our shoes & hang our coats when you entered our house. This piece is great for the money. Missing parts but arrived in a few days,so wasn't a big deal. Matches my furniture in the room and has a nice look to it. It holds many shoes & boots, along with our gloves & hats. I hang at least 8 coats without looking cluttered! It has made my life less complicated!

Very nice looking, sturdy piece of furniture, exactly what I was looking for, for hallway organization of coats, backpacks, shoes etc...
Fairly easy to assemble alone, altho the hinges on the bench were WAY too stiff and I wouldn't have been able to attach them myself (husband helped a little). Great price, and overall VERY pleased!

Love this - have wanted one for years to clean up the coat mess. Received within a few days, simple to put together (just read the instructions) and it is perfect, fits just under a stained glass window.
