I am using this Home Styles Kitchen Buffet for storage. My kitchen is small. This unit allows me to store items in an easy-to-reach out-of-sight fashion. This pantry is high end furniture, not the cheap flakeboard laminate. This is one of two "Home Styles" brand kitchen furniture that I have purchased from Cymax. I was amazed by the high quality of the hard wood construction. Set aside an hour and a half for assembly. Every part was included. I found it easier to use a medium size flat-blade screwdriver to turn the twist cam-locks instead of using a Phillips screwdriver. The instructions provided were somewhat vague and would benefit from close-up views of the dowel holes and pins for the front of the buffet. Overall this is a great piece of furniture and I would purchase again.

This sort of item is difficult to locate in a store, so I ordered on-line. It is still in pieces in a box in my kitchen. I've put together [...] furniture, and lots of closet sets but this one has me stumped. I love the look and, eventually, I'll get it together. The metal cams are a soft metal and will have to be replaced. It's absolutely impossible to do this alone...two construction engineers, at the least, will be required. I'm disappointed because it's exactly what I need for my little condo. But, it's not user friendly and is very frustrating.

The extra storage is great. I downsized from a full-sized buffet to this item and I love how petite it is. However; my husband had a difficult time getting the drawers to glide easily once assembled. Additionally, the front doors hang unevenly due to the pre-drilled holes which were slightly off. But the main issue is that the doors will easily come off if you lift them even slightly upwards when opening the unit -- very strange design. My husband wants to replace the hinges, which shouldn't be necessary on a well-designed piece.

Easily assembled in two hours by myself (retired female). However, drawers are slightly misaligned and are difficult to open/close but can live with it. Looks nice in our diningroom. The stainless steel top is really beautiful and matches other hardware in kitchen. Very sturdy and lots of storage space which we use for our dinnerware.

I love my stand. I use it as a microwave cart and it works fantasticly in my kitchen. It was easy to put together,it took about an hour and half with me and my 15 year old son to assemble.

I added my own custom handles although the included hardware is perfectly acceptable. This is a great low cost alternative to driving to the store and hauling it home. And if you pay attention, the construction's not so bad. I'm very pleased with my purchase and would not hesitate to buy other pieces in this line.
