I did a rather extensive search for a headboard, that was different from the common fabric covered ones, to go in our guest room. When I found this one, I thought it might fit the bill. I was a little worried the color might be too dark for my color scheme. When I opened the box, I was happy. It was of great quality and although a dark brown color, it looked great with the spring colors and neutrals in our guest room. I was able to assemble it by myself. I love the natural look and texture of the rattan. I wouldn't recommend it for kids or teen's room due to the rattan having potential to chip or pieces to break off with rough use. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

Very pleased with headboard as it just as described.
It does, however, have a slight odor that suggests is
was treated with insect spray, or something akin,
prior to shipping. The odor is very slowly dissipating,
but it is noticeable one month from delivery.
