I really had trouble finding just a table (rather that a table/chairs set)in the color, style and height that I wanted. I found others that I liked but the cost was much higher and the style was not exactly what I wanted. This table is solid and well made and a great price.

I had been searching for a 42 inch black wooden pub table for months - just the table - no stools or chairs! I even ordered one from a wellknown retailer - what I got was not at all like the photo. I don't recall how I found this website but the product that I saw was what I envisioned! I was able to put it together with ease - and it matches my chairs and I'm happy. I believe I figured out how to balance the legs - little plastic screws on the bottom!

Great table - we remodeled our kitchen and needed a small table to put in the corner - this is perfect, takes up minimal space and is simple yet looks chic. Only problem is a small scuff marks on one of the legs, we just faced that side to the wall so you can't see it.

My daughter is getting married in April 2009 and will be moving into her own home. Once she moves all of her furniture, I will have a small, empty room adjacent to the kitchen & dining room. I plan to set up my table with some bar chairs I purchased, which are a black finish also. They go great together! I am very excited! It will add a nice touch to that room. We can watch TV, play cards, or use it for extra dining when family comes over. Very sturdy, beautiful table! Great value for the price! Can't wait to use it! The ONLY reason I did not give this a 5 star is that I have not used the table yet. I have no idea if it is hard to clean, shows water marks, etc. I would have to wait until I actually use it. Otherwise, I am extremely satisfied thus far!

We use this product for several great thing's, kid's homework, reading newspaper with hot tea. me and my wife sometime's put a candle in the middle and have a private diner when kid's are gone. It's a great product with know flaus.

I live in a small studio apartment and didn't have room for a large table. It fits pefectly in a small corner and is the perfect size & height. The finish is great and the price doesn't get any better!

I made sure I got the lowest price online. This table is a great part of my Asian/modern look in my apartment dining room. Purchased as a set with stools and got two extra stools for a resonable price. Recommend.

I'm using the product for a bar/entertaining area. It's taller than a normal table but jsut the right height.
