          there were pieces that weren't put together completely therefore i couldn't complete the assembly. had to order two more legs. delay in ability to use the table and chairs. love the set.

              The set fit perfectly in my breakfast nook. I have a formal dining room but needed something like this set for every day use. The solid wood gives it elegance and the chairs are very comfortable. I did buy the thin chair pads for added comfort. The black paint finish is opaque, so a minor fuss is that it needs to be wiped clean after every use because even a few crumbs stand out. Not a big deal for me, but if that is a concern to anyone, the white set might be a better choice.[...] I am so happy with my purchase.

              I love the size of this table. It fits a smaller space rather than a big dining area. It took me 3-4 hours to assemble and was not all that hard. There is one area on the table that is rough--maybe was not sanded enough before the finish went on but it does not really show. The finish is matte. I think I will get a 41' glass top to protect it. I think that will look nice. The chairs are comfortable-big seats.

              Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
