This unit is perfect for additional storage in your kitchen as well as a nice looking counter top. The only negative about this unit is it takes a while to put together (2-3) hours. But once you get past that it's great!

I love the look of my island as well as the extra counter space. It is very heavy so it stays in place with the locked wheels. The fact that it is rather narrow makes it just the perfect size for my kitchen.

I couldn't have found an island that I would have liked better!

I was able to assemble the cart in 4.5 hours by myself using a phillips head screwdriver and the hex wrench that came with the directions. The only time I needed help was to lift the granite counter top. The directions were easy to follow and all the pieces were clearly labeled with little stickers. Everything fit together perfectly. The cart is sturdy, nice quality and looks beautiful with my black kitchen appliances and black sink.

We needed a kitchen island that could take hot pots, was not too large, had good storage, had a good sized worktop area, long lasting, went with our decor, and fit our budget. This met all of these, except we have not had it long enough to test the long lasting part!
