      This is a beautiful piece of furniture, i love it and it fits perfectly in my kitchen. only complaint is that the doors on the bottom are mis-aligned [one hangs slightly higher than the other, and angled] and the right-hand door at the top doesn't stay shut - it's like the magnet is too far away. I'm going to try to fix these myself, i'm just a little annoyed that I have to.

        I bought this piece to add a decorative element to my dining room as well as to keep my baby away from her diaper bag, etc. Our floor plan is very open, so my daughter crawls everywhere and gets into everything. This piece keeps things I don't want her to get into out of sight and reach (and was easy to secure to the wall). As well, the top shelves are nice for display purposes b/c of the glass door cutouts. The magnetic holds on the doors are great b/c they hold tight. Overall, it was easy to put together (with 2 people working on it) and took a couple of hours to construct (including attaching it to the wall). It was also the best price I found for real wood pieces and such good quality.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
