This desk is sturdy and attractive. I gave it for a gift and was slightly disappointed that it had shiney stripes on one corner and a dent on back corner that may have happened during shipping. If the return policy were different I may have sent it back. Bottom line, once you recieve this plan on keeping it or spend a fortune sending it back. If you could even get it back into the box?

I downsized from a large amish oak rolltop desk and wanted something sturdy and at the same time something attractive.......This desk says it all.....I absolutely love it and it is soooooo good looking in the area I use it in.....thank you.

I really enjoy the look of this desk. I have it up in my livingroom and it is a perfect size to fit my laptop with room left on each side for a book or drink :)

Great design and material. Very solid construction! Many uses as a laptop and homework station, as well as a mail/bill station. My daughter named it "Information Central". Not too big like some of its brethren, perfect for smaller spaces.

Was very impressed with the assembly instructions. I had all the parts and everything fit exceptionlly well. It very attractive and exceeded my expectations for quality and construction. I have placed it in the corner of the family room so I can stay connected with family while I work on my computer. Great desk.

This desk more than met my expectations. I wanted a small desk to fit into the corner of my kitchen so I could have my laptop readily available. It's a great looking piece of furniture and the ebony colour looks great with my black appliances. One of the 4 drawers catches slightly and may be able to be adjusted. Only real drawback - should have L brackets included to attach the hutch to the desk as a safety feature. I do love this desk!

I read a review from another customer that said he had diffculty with assembly.... my husband had no such problems. It was assembled in less than 30 minutes!!!
