the furniture wasnt the same color as the on line picture ( a bit redder than a honey oak) It was easy to assemble (did it all myself) Issue- on broken chair part needed replacement and they sent the part promptly. The problem was it was the wrong part sent twice ......aaaargh! But it looks like a good value and its pretty solid construction so it should last a long time.

Spots in the finish are impossible to get out without destroying the finish and if it is lightened it will not take anything back to even it out. The table is the right size for my kitchen dining area. The chairs are uneven and my husband spent many hours working with them to make them as level as possible with minimal success. I will NOT buy furniture over the internet again.

I bought this table along with the matching buffet/hutch. They are a beautiful set and look wonderful in my formal dining room. The finish is darker than it appears online; because we bought the set it didn't matter, but beware if you are trying to match with an existing piece. I think this is an excellent buy and am very pleased with it.

The only complaint I have with this set is that the manufacturer should have been more particular when choosing wood for the top. It has a little more "character" (small knots and other natural flaws) than I would have liked. Other than that, it is well-designed, comfortable, and it was easy to assemble.

Very pleased with look/sturdiness/[...]/price/comfort. Bought 7 pc set plus 3 bar stools. Warning: my very mechanically inclined husband is already 4 hours into assembly (but he thinks its fun.) A really good buy. On the downside, the color is NOT what I expected. Looks like a medium oak in the pictures. In person, it is dark. It more closely matches our distressed cherry living room furniture than our honey oak kitchen cabinets. I was shocked when I walked in the door and saw the color...though it is a very attractive finish. I would never have assigned the term "oak" to it...must be I don't understand what "cottage oak" implies.This is the lowest priced furniture in our home by far...I was nervous to buy it (thought it might look cheap and be a huge problem to return) but I really wanted the 36"x66" size. Definitely recommend this if the darker color is not a problem. Looks like it could have come from any good furniture store.

Love the look of the table in our kitchen and that it is very sturdy. Took 1/2 a day to assemble (time consuming) and the wood screws were the hardest to use to put together the items.
All in all, we are happy.

Nice table and chair set. Great color, sturdy wood. VERY difficult and time-consuming to assemble. Actually broke the leaf trying to repair an existing crack (check your shipment!).

I was pleasantly surprised at how well constructed it was. It is very sturdy and the finish is beautiful.One of the chair legs was missing the metal grommets used for tightening the bolt. I called "Homestlyes/Cymax" [...] I was very impressed!!
