Rare in this price range. Standard Cam Lock assembly, easy. I also used a strong wood glue, for added strength & rigidity. Personal choice. Only the backs are particle board, but not a surprise. They're painted & can't even see 'em. My only critique is the hardware. I'll be replacing the hinges & knobs for something better. Again, personal choice. Plenty of storage, I've got a 46" lcd on top, dvr, receiver, center-channel speaker in the middle, a PS3 on one side, and a UPS in the other. [...]

This stand had the perfect dimensions for my application and I like the style and the open front for warm-running A/V components. Unfortunately the product quality was really sub-par, even given its low price. For [$] I didn't expect great finish detail but quality is much lower than I expected. Two pieces (front fascia and side panel) were damaged upon receipt. The front fascia had obviously been broken and glued back together. [...] The connectors aren't great either. Even with the issues I mentioned, the assembled stand is handsome and sturdy. If you're looking for a quality piece of furniture look elsewhere. If you don't want to spend a lot of $$ on a TV stand and are willing to put up with some hassles, this stand is a reasonable choice.

[...]Everything was marked and the directions were easy to follow. The cabinet went together without a hitch. One of the door hinges needed a bit of tweeking to close tightly. All of the components fit perfectly and there is lots of storage. The traditional style fits with almost any decor.

This is really a beautiful unit with a black 50" plasma tv. It's solid and as nice a piece of furniture as the $1,000 wood units out there. [...] the unit was fairly easy to assemble. I like the divided sliders in the back instead of one large cheap piece to hold the back together.

This console was fairly easy to put together. I would recommend using wood glue in stress points such as when you attach the top and sides. One of the cabinet doors doesn't want to close all the way, but if I lift up on the hinge and close it - it will close. I wish I had purchased a 60" unit instead because the center shelves are not sufficient for all my components. The shelves inside the two cabinet doors aren't wide enough to support a component but good for storage. I have a receiver, satellite box, and center speaker that takes up the entire front shelves. There is no place to put my blu-ray player except on top with my TV, but it's okay. I have a 46" tv and it is perfect for it. I like the simple design of this unit because it fades away and the TV becomes the primary focal point, which is what I was looking for. It is long enough to place an even larger tv on this unit as long as it meets the weight requirements. I am overall satisfied with this product.

The appearance of the product actually was better than anticipated. It was very solid once assembled. I placed my 40" Flat Screen on the unit which left perfect amount of space on each side for surround speakers. Had one small piece not made quite right and Cynmax [...]was amazing. A real person answered on the first ring and they were in America !
