    If you're looking for a sturdy, practical and smooth stylish design with adequate storage, this TV stand is awesome!

    We received it 5 days after placing the order. It came in 2 heavy packages and was very well packed and protected. There were no scratches and the individual pieces are heavy. You need some sizeable floor space to lay out all your pieces and to maneuver the unit as you put it together. Need a Philips and standard screwdriver, and a small hammer to push in the small pegs for the center shelves.

    Would strongly recommend NOT using wood glue as you assemble the pieces. You need some give when assembling later pieces. The already pre-drilled holes are pretty much on the mark, however the wood dowels already installed don't always match their designated pre-drilled holes. As such, you need to apply some strong weight to ensure a clean fit but be careful not to damage the wood. I had to turn it on its side and upside down before the top piece would fit properly. Even laid down on the top of it to help the process along. This was the most frustrating part of the entire assembly process -- ensuring a tight fit into all the pre-drilled holes.

    Once assembled, it was nice and heavy and sturdy. Even the cupboards fit well within the framework. The unit looks beautiful as the oak stain and polish along with the design make it a very attractive piece of furniture.

    We're very happy with this unit. Would buy again from this site.

    This piece was of average construction. The color looks good but the wood/construction is very delicate...meaning easy to gouge or scratch. I found the instructions a bit dificult to read through, and found myself getting a bit testy putting it together. This piece was purchased for short term use before we buy something of higher quality. It fits our need for the time being.

        We were very impressed by the reviews and were NOT disappointed! This console looks great when set up! It only took my husband and I one hour and 30 minutes to assemble--he was familiar with the screw/lock mechanisms. We were replacing a tall TV Hooker armoire in the room and this fits in perfectly with the Hooker coffee table and end table still there. The finish is definitely more of a cherry/mahogany than warm oak, which was just what we wanted. We're really glad that we didn't go for the dark cherry--I'm sure it would have been too dark--guessing like the Bombay Company dark wood furniture. It is HEAVY when set up but so glad it's real wood! Only the back that faces the wall isn't wood.

        Love the pc, perfect for new flat screen, easy
        to hide power strip inside, just darker than
        what the pic actually shows. Very solid, and didn't assemble any harder than other furniture that comes in pcs. It is heavy but that isn't an issue

            We are more than pleased with this purchase. [...]. After that, we were happy to find that the cabinet is all wood (some veneer) with the exception of the bottom, which is engineered wood. Everything fit together nicely and we had a finished cabinet in less than an hour and a half after opening the two boxes.The end result is a tasteful cabinet of good quality that holds its own when compared to some far more expensive furniture nearby. I would purchase this product again in a heartbeat!

              Was excited about the t.v. design was exactly what we were looking for.Was disappointed in the workmanship,the plinth was damaged and the two doors did not close evenly one door had a gap 1/4 at top and the other 1/4 @ bottom looked warped to us,but the wood was quality material.Not sure if I would recommend.

                    My husband is VERY fussy, and we are both very pleased with the quality of this piece for the money. One recommendation, Count the pieces of hardware. We assembled the unit, then had some extra pieces, and the instructions said it included 1 extra piece of each type.
                    we had 2 extra pieces of one type. We quickly figured out where it belonged and remedied the problem.
