I bought this daybed replacement deck because the one that came with the bed was 20 yrs. old & the springs were getting old & squeaky. Now I wish I has the squeaky springs back, as I think this deck is way too firm. So, if a very very firm daybed deck is what you're in the market for, you'll love this!!!

There are no height adjustments on these brackets & now I have to kind of hop up onto the bed - I'm going to have to take it all apart again (not anytime soon!), drill lower holes in my daybed frame & re assemble the entire thing again - I am not looking forward to this prospect at all...

I had my doubts about this product when the box arrived,but they went away as soon as the assembly was complete. The assembly was sweat producing, but not impossible. It would have been easier with two people, as I did all assembly alone. I love the design. It is smooth therefore has no wires to catch and snag your mattress like the link springs sometimes do. And of course the normal advatages like no need for a box spring and extra storage under a bed. Of course we are storing another bed under this one on a trundle, but it leaves 15" of clearance with my current footboard and headboard. Overall I love this product.
