        That's what I get for ordering things online....I like the chairs, but I won't be able to sit on them until I find a very thick carpet (or something) to put under. The legs taper out and are very thin at the tips so they create dents in hardwood floors immediately. Area under the feet too small to put thick felt stickies under either. I should have known from the picture..but I stupidly assumed chairs wouldn't be made in a way that you couldn't sit on them on hardwood floors. Oh well. Pretty, though!

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

            I'm really not an internet shopper. I like to see the product, examine the way it's put together and in this case, see if it's comfortable. However, after shopping at all the stores in my area and not finding anything in red and the right size, I decided to take a chance. [...] I had been told that assembly was not difficult; however, my husband is not handy and definitely thought it would be time consuming. Wrong! All the holes matched up, the screws fit, and in about a half hour both stools were ready to use. I love them! Along with being comfortable and sturdy, the red is a nice accent in the kitchen.
