Chairs work great with all the wood in the kitchen and leather chairs in the living room. Only issue was one chair was defective in manufacturing and had to be returned. This was a lengthy process, but the end result was satisfactory.

Smooth turning mechanism, not wobbly even under heavy weight. Foot rest is comfortable and has a brass cap to prevent scuffing of the wood and adds to the styling. It is everyone's favorite chair cause it has everything a bar stool needs---swivel, sturdy, foot rest, back rest, arms, and soft seat. The only "con" which is understandable is the size.
