A mattress supporting suspension deck is included.           Used for guest bedroom. Attractive and relatively straightforward to assemble. All parts were present and fit together in a tight and solid assembly. No real complaints. Purchased a standard (9" thick) twin innerspring mattress. Sleeps well.

            I was searching for a daybed with pop-up trundle for the past 2 years. I found it was very difficult to find a daybed that had the metal and wood components. Most of the comparable units were either of poor quality or double, even triple the price. The assembly went fairly easy. I was able to assemble the entire unit myself with some minor assistance to hold the link spring in place until it was attached. I'm looking forward to the many conveniences now available in our spare bedroom. More floor space during the day, ability to provide sleep space for a single guest or couple. [...] The other was two of the precut holes to insert the metal frame to the wooden posts were not aligned but were quickly remedied by using a small wood chisel to allow the metal frame to line up. All in all, it's a beautiful addition to our home and I look forward to many years or versatile use with it.

              I have purchased this daybed when I remodeled my daughters room. I just wanted a queen sized bed with two end tables for when my children came to visit with my grandchildren. Seeing that the room was still so empty, I wanted to add another bed or something where the grandkids could sleep. So, I took the headboard design of my original queen sized bed and tried to match the color of the wood and also have the bronze iron look. The moment I saw this picture of the San Marcos daybed. MY SEARCH WAS OVER. My queen headboard has the same color pine wood and the insert of the bronze iron in it. It was a match made in heaven. My spare bedroom is now complete.
