          We purchased the Hillsdale Mercer Bed for our master bedroom.[...] Everything was included and was in perfect shape. Nothing scratched or dented, nothing missing. We assembled it easily. The directions are mostly pictures. You do have to take your time, and pay attention to all details on the pictured instructions. Two people working together make the assembly easier.

              I cannot tell you how much I love this bed. It is metal so it is very sturdy. Very Tuscan feel to it. It looks just like the picture. It would work best with tall boxspring and tall mattress, but it does work with just regular boxspring and mattress, too. [...] This is my first "big" purchase online without being able to touch something first and I am ecstatic about it. It's just a great dream bed. My husband even likes it because it doesn't shift under his weight and he doesn't think it's too "girly" either. Thank you guys so much. It's really a dream.

              THE MERCER BED BY ITSELF IS BEAUTIFUL. MY PROBLEM WAS SET-UP. THE SIMMONS CALIFORNIA KING BOX SPRINGS HOWEVER WERE TOO WIDE FOR THE BED AND I HAD TO LOOSEN ALL THE BOLTS IN ORDER TO MAKE IT FIT. IN THE INTERIM I HAD TO MAKE ALTERATIONS TO THE BED CLOTHES IN ORDER FOR THEM TO FIT BECAUSE THERE WAS INSUFFICIENT ROOM ON THE SIDES TO ACCOMODATE THEM. PLEASE MEASURE THE WIDTH OF YOUR BOX SPRINGS BEFORE PURCHASE. ALSO SCREWS WERE DAMAGED TRYING TO MAKE THE BOX SPRINGS FIT INTO THE FRAME.

              Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
