It was a pain to put together. There are 5 million pieces. The wood laminate is fragile...don't drop anything on the edges or set it down too hard or you will scratch and/or chip it. It feels sturdy enough when put together but remember this is particle board...I wouldn't suggest being too rough with it. Shipping from Cymax is through another party and they do not communicate very well. You will get confusing e-mails about shipping from Cymax and then end up having to call everyone yourself to clarify details. Other than that, the furniture design is nice and you can get the whole matching bedroom set delivered for a good price. It's not solid cherry but you get what you pay for!

I absolutely love my headboard! It was shipped out to me within a week, which is amazing for free shipping on an item that is 86lbs. My only complaint would be, I had no idea that it required assembly, with SO MANY PIECES. Other than that, I honestly cannot complain. This headboard is sturdy, vintage look without a vintage price and it's the ultimate piece in any room!
