Armed with only a briefcase full of furniture designs, Mr. Bruce toured Eastern furniture companies and came home with $200,000 in orders. His remarkable salesmanship was the start of a beautiful friendship between a variety of quality solid wood furniture and leather. Today, Hammary Furniture is a division of La-Z-Boy Incorporated, which includes other brand names such as American Drew, Lea, and Lea Nickelodeon.
