This bed fits perfectly in my small guest room. The low profile allowed me to use a very thick, plush mattress without adding too much height. It is solid, simple and modern. Love it!

This bed was reasonably priced and is solid wood. It's simple design allows me to easily transform the look of my studio apartment by changing the bedding and it maneuvers easily (I have wall to wall carpeting) so I can reposition it. I use it as my primary bed and as seating.

This platform bed frame is exactly what we were hoping for - as we were tight on space for a king size bed. We have a comfortable amount of room for the bed itself, but not for a large headboard/decorative or oversized frame. The frame fits our new Memory Foam matress beautifully and looks very nice. The stain is warm and a very nice color (Mahogony). Assembly wasn't too difficult, but once it is put together it is difficult to move due to the wooden blocks that support the frame on the underside. Not a big deal, but we did need to change the position of the bed slightly so we used sliders under the legs of the frame. We were careful not to bend the wooden supports under the bed which are out of our reach once assembled. When we opened the box the frame came in we found a dent/scratch in the board facing the front. At first it bothered me but after making the bed it can't be seen so I can live with one little imperfection for the price we paid. Overall we are very happy with the Bed Frame[...]

Overall we are pleased with the quality and price. It went together semi-easily and is very sturdy. I put felt pads on the legs to keep it from marking the laminate floor.We wanted to use our foam matress without a box spring to have the bed lower to the floor to accomodate our beagles. The dogs have an easy time jumping up and we do not notice the lower bed, I'm 6' tall. After a few days, I'm not yet sure if the comfort factor has gone down without the box spring but we are now sleeping well.[...]

I shopped around several weeks for a platform bed. I liked this style. It was simple and not hundreds and hundreds of dollars. I received the bed and was able to assemble over my lunch break. I read that some people had trouble with the instructions being sort of unclear. I don't usually use instructions on items like these and I really had no problem putting it together.

I have sticker shock when it comes to furniture. I chose this bed mostly for the price. The platform bed I would love to have is like four Gs...way out of my range at this point. This is a good, basic piece of furniture. I'm going for a Zen look and it's a good start.

This is the first time I have ordered furniture on-line, but I took a chance based on the picture, description, price and, especially, other buyers' reviews. I ordered the queen Murray Platform Bed in mahogany in June 2009.I am completely satisfied! [...]This is not particle board or medium density fiberboard; it is solid wood and very nicely stained. It includes 14 wood slats that lay across the width of the frame which are connected by 2 strips of rugged fabric. There is 1 wood slat that attaches lengthwise to the 14 slats. In addition, there are 2 legs (which was a pleasant surprise for a queen as I only expected one) that screw into that wood slat for more support in the middle of the frame.The under-bed clearance is low - about 5.25 inches [13.5 cm] - so keep that in mind if you intend to store items under the frame.My husband (who put it together by himself with just my help laying the wood slats) is as pleased with the bed as I. It is simple but elegant. This bed frame is a fantastic buy - you can't go wrong.
