I generally do not review items that I have purchased. Because I am so impressed with this bed, it is worth taking a few minutes and pass my thoughts on to you. I am one of those people that believe that you get what you pay for. I am willing to pay more for an item if I believe that I am getting better quality for the extra money. I was a little apprehensive about purchasing this bed because it was so inexpensive, but based on the reviews, I took a chance. I was not disappointed. I am so impressed with the quality and durability of this bed. It is solid as a rock. If I had to purchase another bed like this, I would not hesitate to purchase this bed again. You won't be disappointed.

This product was very easy to assemble. The only comment is that you want to attach the two mid-rail supports to the center beam first before attaching the center beam to the rails. Looks great, my 12 year old loves it. And even if he trashes it, it was a low price solution anyway.

The bed was very easy to assemble, but the side pieces that include the ledge where the slats are to be supported by were not put together by the manufacturer correctly. The slats are supposed to be screwed into the ledges, however the screw holes are parallel to the slats instead of being vertical. So the slats are simply resting on the ledge and not attached. So far this has not caused any problems, but I think this is a very simple thing that should have been done correctly. [...]

I was very pleased with this bed. It is sturdy and the finish is even. As it was a Christmas gift for my adult son, I was concerned about not being able to see it in person. It is better than I hoped and it goes perfectly with his furniture.

I was amazed that such a nice bedframe could fit into 2 mid-size boxes (pre-assembly), but it did! The assembly was clear and easy - in English and Spanish, or simple diagrams - and it was put together within 30 minutes. If I'd bought it from the store up the street, I would have paid $80 more for them to assemble it, so that means my time is worth a lot!

I was impressed with the hardware that came with the bed. Assembly was easy and I noticed that the number of threads per inch on the screws was of highest quality. The wood in the slats were of good quality and thickness. The engineering of the frame and slats creates a solid platform.
