The foot board is too low for the new thicker (taller) mattresses and boxspring. However, I was able to add to the height by adding similar material to the lengthen the legs. I am very handy and designed and fabricated the extension peices for this redesign. It did take some machining and specialized tools not normally found in the average home. Now the height is correct and and finish is equal to the original quality. It really looks great! The manufacturer should consider this change for the taller beds and add extensions like the pieces they give for the head board.

These beds are perfect and very versatile. I put 2 twin headboards in my guest room and it just makes the room. AND the price is right....quality is great.

The frame does not actually support the bed at all - it is just attached to the mattress frame. It is, however, an attractive addition to our daughter's bedroom, which is now used as a guest room.

We purchased this as a headboard only. The only thing we didn't like was that we originally wanted it as a full-size. The headboard is sold as "full/queen". There are adapter plates for full size. We didn't care for that so we sent back the "twin/full size" bedframe we also ordered, and purchased a queen size frame and mattress. And the whole thing is much better. And Cymax was great to work with.

This bed went beyond my expectations, it looks beautiful. a great bed at an excellent price and sturdy. My husband put it together in like 30 minutes.

The bed was very easy to assemble because of the detailed instructions. However, the frame sits a little higher than the head and foot board are made to match. My foot board and head board do not actually touch the ground, they are simply fastened into the frame. This is probably due to the lifts the frame legs sit in and may resolve itself over time. It hasn't affected the beds sturdiness yet.

Used this bed in my guestroom. It is not overpowering and the room looks as if it was done by a decorator! This bed is sturdy and looks expensive. I'm usually skeptical about purchasing an item sight unseen. However, I'm so glad that I took the chance. If you are looking for an inexpensive black metal bed, especially for a small or medium sized room, this is a great purchase! Hope you will enjoy it as much as I do!
