This is as pictured, of excellent finish, and not difficult to assemble. Headboard is higher than we expected, but actually is as shown in the picture. With mattress and box springs, it is taller than most. The bed is solid, no squeaks, rocking, etc. But it is very very heavy and could have used wheels on the frame so it can be moved once it is assembled and the mattress and box springs are installed.

It took me years to find a head/footboard that I love, and it was a really great deal. Im so happy with my decision.

Brushed nickel "look" looks great. The lower footboard is perfect for a small room. Easy to assemble -- but instructions would have helped.
