We have a low profile boxspring. I called Cymax for information of hight from floor to the bottom of front board. They helped me to find out the info. It's 22 inches. I had to purchase bed riser to make it fit. It sounds funny to purchase a low profile boxspring and then raise the bed...at least we get more space on the bottom?

Back to the bookcase headboard. It looks good for the price. I wouldn't say it's a high quality product. There is a small gap between the top curvy front board and two side boards though it doesn't affect the look. Overall, both me and my kid are happy with this purchase.
I ordered through phone after resolved my question. The piece shipped to me within one week.

This exact same headboard sells for twice this price on another site. This is a real bargain for those who use their money wisely. Except for the backing board--it is made of real wood which is rare for this price. Very nice, durable, headboard for a child or teenager.

I bought this for my daughter in the full size. She is nine and loving a full size bed. The bookcase allows her to store her glasses at night and a few other things. Good buy for the price.

I'm a bargain shopper, but my husband has had it with trying to put together cheaply made furniture. I am banned from buying particle board or anything like it because it just doesn't last. It has to be real wood. With that said, this headboard was just perfect. We live in a small house with small rooms, so the design of this headboard was not overpowering or big & bulky. Price was good and my husband said it was easy to put together and sturdy. It is exactly what we needed!
