          I wanted a small place to curl up and lay down in my sewing room and this filled the bill perfectly. There was a distinct unpleasant smell in the pads for about the first week but is fine now.

                The futon is small and fits nicely into a studio. As another reviewer noted, it is large enough for a child or a shorter person to sleep on. The colors (I got aubergine) are beautiful. But the material is not what I expected. Most futon covers are made of thicker cotton. This one is, for the lack of a better word, "silky" and not as comfortable to the touch; it is definitely not pleasant to sit on when the room or the weather gets hot. It is difficult to imagine that the list price for the futon is [$]. Even the discounted [$] feels like too much.

                I love the color scheme(Aubergine & Caper). The futon is small too very small. The fabric has an odor when you 1st open the box and assemble the futon, but only for about a day or two. A great primary bed for a child, or small adult. Also good for a guest bed or Dorm room. I love the futon.

                The style and size of this futon were perfect for what I needed.

                In the ad it looked brown/beige. I didn't realize that aubergine was purple. We're living with it.

                Also, it must be the fire retardant, but it smells really bad. It has diminished a little, but not much.

                    i purchesed it for our computer room wich has wall units with books. it is a space saver, very comforatable. i would recommend it any time. i've checked all the products and this one is what i was looking for.it took me several months to find what we need as my hubby is very picky. he loves it!!amen!!!
