Not sure I would want to sleep on this every night, but my husband and I were comfortable when we used this at our daughter's. We got it for her for her spare room and use it when we visit. It was pretty easy to put together although it really took two people to handle/hold the larger pieces for assembly. The wood arms make it a step above your average dorm room futon. I was disappointed that the flat bed of the futon was horizontal bars as apposed to more of a criss-cross wire bed. I thought we would feel the bars when we were sleeping, but this was not the case. The frame supported us very evenly through the night,

This futon is a great fit for a small guest room. The wood frame gives a quality appearance unlike the "typical" futon. The instructions were clear and it was easily assembled by one person. The futon is easy to convert to the sleeping position with the basic mattress, but more difficult to convert with heavier, spring-based mattresses. I've gotten many compliments on it so far, especially from friends who expected your typical metal funton and are surprised a futon can be high-quality and stylish.
