This was purchased to replace a frame in my guest room/office. The product was exactly as described [...] The directions for assembly were somewhat abbreviated for a woman with limited construction skills and I had to use an electric drill/screwdriver rather than the handtools included, but once I had it figured out, the assembly went very quickly and I was able to do it w/o help. I like the combination of metal back and seat, with wood sides. My former futon was 100% wood and did not withstand the rigors of jumping children. I like the ease of opening and closing this futon to make into a bed, much easier than my last one. I have only had this for 2 weeks but I am very happy with it so far and would recommend it. My only suggestion is to include greater detail in the assembly instructions.

This is a great looking futon for the price. We did not get the mattress, just the frame. With my 2 kids jumping on it constantly, I do hear squeaks. I wonder if it was the best option in a family room. The design is sleek and we love that it is easy to assemble. It is also very simple to change from couch to bed.

It would be difficult to find such impressive structure locally for the money. The wood is truly a hardwood, the appearance is worthy of a living room and with the foam mattress I put on this full size futon in 75x27x7 sections, I'm going to custom cover it with matching pillows and consider it my couch. Here's one for what the internet should be doing for consumers needing to save some money, great buy! And, assembly was with first rate metals and within an hour it was up, with hands tools!

The product is great for our living room. We use it as a couch and then a guest bed if needed. It is sturdy and comfortable. It was a bit hard to put together, but all and all not to bad.

I love this futon. Only had it for a few days but I can already tell it is durable and strong and will remain comfy for some time to come...
It is my primary bed.
I like the way it converts from a daybed to sitting position so easily.
It was terribly difficult to put together though, took about 2hrs single-handedly. You will need to screw things into hard-to-reach areas.
