We bought this for our teenage daughter to be put under a twin size loft. The futon is comfortable and nice enough looking, but is extremely difficult to convert from a bed back to a couch; it takes two people. We bought an eight inch futon mattress, and maybe the weight of the mattress makes it difficult.

This ad is totally misleading... Yes it has 'frame' in the headline, but the pic includes a futon mattress and cover. Since it is a frame for sale, the pic should show a FRAME [- with at most a smaller side pic to let you know what it looks like with a mattress...]... So - it is not the deal it appears... Returning product is not recommended; of my price, I will in essence be getting about 25% back[...]... I believe this is a standard totally decent frame - as long as you are not trying to get it at a good price...

I bought this bed for my 9 year old daughter, who absolutely loves it! After a visit to my friend's house my daughter had seen her daughter's futon..ever since she wanted one. After making sure she really wanted it within days we purchased it from Cymax and bought the mattress seperate at another store-- She says she gets a good night sleep and it is quite comfortable.. So comfy we hardly see her anymore--She is in her room on her futon!

It was a little confusing putting it together, but once done, it worked great. Very comfortable and easy for the the kid's to convert to a bed when they have sleepovers.

Although a little harder to put together than I expected, I like this futon. My daughters boyfriend helped assemble it, for which I was grateful as it was difficult getting the bed section properly attached to the frame. It is light enough to move around as needed and my daughter says it is comfortable for her to sleep on. I found it worth the price.[...]

Our daughter is in College living with 3 other roommates. They are hard on furniture and broke the wood futon frame. Needed something inexpensive, but durable. This frame is both. My daughter said assembly was easy and it looks great. The frame was shipped as promised. Will check Cymax Store website again in the future.

This is a great futon frame. I had no problems putting it together, or folding it up and down between couch and bed. It is strong and well designed. The open sides on the arm rests make it very easy to move around, but also easy for pillows to fall through.
