        [...] the price was excellent. Our only problem was that there was a piece by the door that chipped and is being glued as I write this. I can't understand what could have happened [...].We bought this to help heat our living room which is usually a few degrees cooler than the rest of the house We did have a Dimplex stove before and loved it, but the heater went out and it was too costly to repair. My problem is with Dimplex itself. The flame is still the best among all the electric fireplaces and stoves that we have seen and the stove is really nice. I do love the way it looks, but it's the difference in quality. We bought our other stove in 2003 and the quality in that stove truly surpases the one that we just bought. The old one went into another room just for the flickering flame.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
